This is the occasion to let loose your inner main characters! Please disregard the typical wedding dress codes, such as not wearing white or not outshining the bride. We would love to see our guests radiate joy from feeling over-the-top fabulous, sassy and happy celebrating with us in high spirits.If you want to dress up formal, there are no concerns for over dress, go black tie if you wish. If you felt your best on your own wedding days, then let's see you back in your bridal gowns. If you enjoy being in costumes, then come as your favorite characters, historical or fictional. The app, Bumble.The man, Michael. His profile didn't have the typical "look, I'm on a boat" fishing pictures.The woman, Elisa. Her profile didn't have the usual full glam "I drink wine" party pictures.The conversation sustainer, motorcycles. Both Micael and Elisa had profile pictures of them in full leather riding suits and their motorcycles.It was early 2021, covid and the scramble for vaccine were in full swing. As much as we all try to forget, it was the least romanic social climate for dating. After a month of messaging in app, they decided on an in-person meet and greet, over hot chocolate and coffee. Michael had the hot chocolate.In hind sight, the first month of dating could've easily ended in disaster. Elisa was barely coherent, plagued by heavy brain fog and other covid vaccine side effects. Michael was keenly observant and reserved. It was a feat of faith and hope for them to continue with the relationship. To this day, Elisa only vaguely remembers the early months, though Michael claims he knew from that first hot chocolate.Since then, it's been “dream team in action” navigating through their merged lives. Their weirdness vibe in harmony They mutually enable each other in their shared insatiable motorcycle habits. Ride-or-die became their unspoken commitment to each other. Michael became a great cat daddy to Elisa’s fur goblins.Then here we are, about to throw a big party with our loved ones and see what being in the center of attention is all about. Really though, it’s an excuse for a trip to Cabbage Island.Of course, cheers to living happily ever after!

The drive is about 2 and half hours, and it's a great scenic drive to soak in the sights and vibes of New England. This looks very enticing with the popular spa and huge indoor pool, but the reviews online are a mix bag though. People recommended to get “upstairs” rooms that open to indoor hallway. Some complain about some of the older rooms smelling funny. There’s a full service restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
